Full Description
NF76SE 26 centred 798 649.
(Area : NF 798 650) Fragments of a unique urn, deep, baggy, with a rounded bottom and everted rim, were found during peat-digging in 1951, immediately south of a small un-named loch between Loch nan Struban and Loch na h-Iolare some 900 yards from the seashore.
While related generically to a series of Neolithic pots, it is probably datable to the first half of the 2nd millenium BC, before 1400 B.C.
