NF82NW 6 centred on 8278 2832
A farmstead comprising two unroofed buildings is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Hebrides, South Uist 1880, sheet liv). Two unroofed buildings, one of which has an attached enclosure, are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1970) although they are not at the same location as those on the 1st edition.

Two buildings are depicted on Balds map, one has an attached enclosure to south, the other is 'L'shaped in plan. The location is annotated ' Boelam'. Current AP's indicate cultivation ridging in the wider area.
