What may be a sheepfol of three compartments is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Hebrides, South Uist 1880, sheet liv). An enclosure of four compartments is shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1970).
Information from RCAHMS (SAH) 20 May 1997

Balds map depicts a small settlement annotated 'High Town', located in this general area. It seems likely that these structures may have been repurposed into a sheepfold at some piont. Current AP's do not indicate other obvious areas of activity on this hillside.
