Formerly NB35SE 38

A township, comprising eighteen unroofed buildings, one of which may be a mill and thirteen enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Isle of Lewis Ross-shire 1853, sheet 5). Two enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974). It is partly overlain by the field-system of the crofting township of Ballantrushal (see NB35SE 43.05).
