Three unroofed buildings and a length of wall are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis Ross-shire 1853, sheet 8), but they are not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
Information from RCAHMS (AKK) 18 February 1997.

Ruins depicted on the OS map are represented as rectangular ruins. Following a site visit the ruins comprise of three round houses represented as earth set stones, two with smaller annexes, giving them a figure of eight plan. They are located on a high spot overlooking the coast on three sides and the lower land to the south. The dimensions of the largest ruin are 6m diameter x 11m length. The form of these structures would suggest and Iron Age date.
