What may be one roofed shieling-hut is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1854, sheet 30). One black dot which may indicate the location of a building is shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1973).
Information from RCAHMS (SAH) 15 August 1997

This site appears on current AP's as a sub circular grassy mound, potentailly this might suggest a sheiling built on an earlier feature. This site would benefit a site visit.
