What may be one roofed shieling-hut and three unroofed shieling-huts, which are annotated as Ruins, are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1854, sheet 30). Three black dots which may indicate the location of buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1973).

A group of beehive sheilings located beneath a small cliff, one appaers quiet large. This site would benefit from a site visit. Visible on current AP's.
