What may be seven unroofed shieling-huts annotated as Ruins are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1854, sheet 38). Two black dots which may indicate the site of buildings are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).

Current AP's show a number of sub-circular stone structures; probable sheilings with a later enclosure at the base of a rocky hillock.
