A township, comprising two roofed buildings, one of which is annotated as 'ruin', six unroofed buildings, four enclosures and a head-dyke is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Isle of Lewis Ross-shire 1853, sheet 5). A crofting township, comprising twenty-one roofed, two unroofed buildings, enclosures and a field-system are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
