NB14SW 12.01 1436 4058 Fish Curing Building

A township, comprising seventeen roofed buildings, sixteen of which are annotated as ruins and one as a curing house, six enclosures and head-dykes is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis, Ross-shire 1854, sheet 17). Eight unroofed and five enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1972).
