A farmstead, comprising one unroofed T-shaped building annotated 'ruin' and one enclosure is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis, Ross-shire 1852, sheet 15), but it is not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1991).
This farmstead may have been part of the pre-crofting township of Bac (see NB44SE 46).

The Chapman 1807 map would seem to backup this idea.
