Full Description

E 329:
This enclosure measures 14 x 12 metres, has a rather round shape and is situated on a faint slope. It consists of very low banks, the stones are mostly covered with turf. The blackhouse E 328 is located just 8 metres to the west.
Interpretation: This enclosure seems to be associated with blackhouse E 328. The enclosure could have been constructed during the early phase of the blackhouse (of that phase survives only the side structure to the north of the big room), and then later been reused by the inhabitants of the house. The purpose could have been stock management.
