Full Description
"Situated on a rocky outcrop to the south of a small unnamed lochan to the west of Loch Dubh and the east of the summit of Gliac Mhor, the remains of this cairn measure 1 metre in diameter and 1 metre tall. It is well maintained and formed into a neat cone, with a flat slab on its south-west side that is inscribed with white paint as follows: MARGARET DONNA MORRE(?)A(?) under which is painted a saltire in blue and white. This cairn may be a navigation cairn, and certainly it has views towards the west and eastern extents of Loch Erisort. However, it has been recently maintained, probably by the people who painted their names on the stone slab included in its construction. It is possible that the stone for this structure came from a second cairn located at NB4010619725 ca 10 metres to the south-west." (Burgess 2004, 166-167)
