Full Description

A township comprising of a cluster of blackhouse styled buildings around a former junction of pathways (now a sharp bend in the road). 6" 1st ed Ordnance Survey sheet depicts five roofed buildings and five unroofed structures. The site of the northern most building is now occupied by a house and barn, the structures appear as ruins on either side of the road, some partially levelled at the corner of the road, with at least one ruin relitively intact.
