The SHERBROKE, McIntyre, from the Clyde to Sligo, was wrecked on the Island of Barra 23d ult. Three of the crew drowned.

The map sheet assigned to this record is arbitrary. It is unclear whther the stranding occurred on the eastern (Sea of the Hebrides) or western (Atlantic) shore of the island.
Whittaker classifies the vessel as a brigantine.
