NB52NE 8002 unlocated
8 Feb 1886, ROSE AUGUSTA, new, not registered, wooden lugger, 5 tons, 6 crew, Master J. McLeod, Owner M.McIver, Bayble, near Stornoway. Departed Bayble for fishing in ballast. 6 lives lost. Foundered 4 miles East of the Chicken Rocks, North Minch, Hebrides.

The map sheet assigned to this record is essentially arbitrary, being derived from the location cited by Larn and Larn. Chicken Rocks are not noted as such on the 1997 edition of the OS 1:50,000 map but may be identified with A' Chreac [name: NB 497 287]..
