Full Description

SABS 27: Moine Dhonnachaidh possible stone alignment NB 37573 53205

These possible alignments of large recumbent slabs (see also SABS 28) are typical of a feature seen in this general area where denudation of the peat has occurred. It is possible that the examples recorded here are gelogical, rather than archaeological. However, they demonstrate the potential in these eroded areas for prehistoric stone features on the subsoil below the peat.
