Full Description

A distinctive pionted mound, unlike any other features in the area; which immediately catches the eye.
This feature is an oval shaped grass covered mound rising to a piont, its dimensions are approximatly 18m x 15m x 2m.
It is highly possible that this is a Norse burial monument.

It is also interesting to note, that this mound and a similar double pionted mound (NF 08253592) are visible in a photographs taken by Robert Adam (C.1938) (Pages 16/17/18/19).
