A large sub-oval grass & heather covered mound with large stones representing possible peristaliths, several large 'natural' boulders are located in or near the base of the NW side of the mound. Approx dimensions 17m x 20m x 4m height. There is later sheiling occupation on the mound in the form of three circular structures. There are extensive views to the west coast & south across the moorland and to the hills. There are old peat cuttings and heavy heather growth in the surrounding area. It seems likely that this was originally a burial cairn.
