Full Description

Field survey revealed what may be the remains of a stone built “clapper” bridge. The remains comprise a 2.5m section of what appears to be bridge supports revetted into the north bank of the burn with only tumbled stones surviving on the southern bank. To the west, a section of raised bank/embankment survives as a sinuous section of bank comprised of earth and stone and measuring 14m in length by 1.5m wide by 0.80m in height.
