Full Description

A farmstead with the place name Corunna. 6" 1st edition Ordnance Survey sheet (1876) shows two roofed buildings and a rectanular enclosure. This farmstead appears to have been built by a veteran of the Napoleonic wars. The Battle of Corunna was the culmination of a hard fought rearguard action by the British Army in January 1809.
