Full Description

Roofed rectangular building with outshot type feature to northern elevation, depicted on the 6" 1st ed Orednance Survey map sheet (1848) and annotated 'Free Church'. This building is not shown on the 2nd ed OS map sheet (1895). Current AP's & lidar clearly show the outline of this structure which is located in a cleared area, truncating earlier cultivation ridging; much of which has been destroyed by later crofting activity.
