Full Description

Three bay blackhouse, thatched roof with gable end stacks & chimney pots. Rendered drystone stone walls, with shuttered concrete porch addition to front and attached corragated annex with pitched roof to north gable end. Building is located in an elevated position, slighly behind the coastline.
6"1st ed Ordnance Survey sheet (1878)depicts a small byre on the site with an earlier house adjacent to the shoreline. The 2nd edition map sheet (1901) indicates this building with an attached enclosure to east.
This building is in a derelict condition, but retains some of its roof.
