Full Description

A circular cairn with low grassy mound and small sized boulder kerb; approx 4.5m diameter. Centre of mound has a upstanding additional (marker style) cairn comprising of smaller stone cobbles, this appears to be a later addition to the monument, but is not a modern feature. The site is situated in a prominent position on an elevated plateau with small valleys either side of it aligned NW/SE and extensive views of the machair plain to the West & NW. Current AP's appear to show an area of lazy beds running over this feature, although this wasn’t noted on the ground. Modern land division has a fence running over the NW portion of the site.
