Full Description
A square stone pillar with two inscribed circular motiffs with internal inscribed crosses. This pillar has been incorparated into the later cottage and used as a window lintel.
Identified on a site visit.
K.Murphy (CnES Arch Service) 12/03/2025.
Following a recent site visit, a third motiff was identified, the left most likely to be a hexafoil design, the other two are either hexafoil or crosses-of -arcs. These carvings could suggest a 7th century date.

An additional inscribed stone was identified on the same structure, located on a quoin stone in the SW corner. The inscribed features comprise of three parallel lines, 5cm apart which run under render. There is possible comparision with an inscribed cross shaft found on Eigg (circa 7th century).
