Monument record MWE157577 - Abhainn a' Choire

Two mounds located on either side of the Abhainn a' Choire Dubh. That on the north side measures around 50m ESE-WNW by 30m transversely and its summit adjacent to the burn is around 6-7m high. Upon its upper surfaces are at least four drystone walled huts, three of which are rectangular in plan plus other subsidiary structures. The much smaller mound on the burn's south side is also located directly on its bank and has a fifth rectangular structure upon its summit, whose substructure section has been partly revealed by erosion.
