Full Description

Balds map (1805) depicts a small settlement close to the edge of the loch, within the township of 'Gearnish'. The 6"1st ed Ordnance Survey depicts roofless houses & enclosures in roughley the same area. These appear to be a mix of clearance and later settlement ruins. This area would benefit from a walkover survey.
