Full Description

A large sub-rectangular stone and turf enclosure aligned NW/SE. The 6" 1st edition Ordnance Survey sheet (1878) indicates the siting of several small rectangular structures arounds its perimeter, some roofed. Current lidar imagerey also shows a larger rectangular structure located off centre within the enclosure, comprising of two compartments. Probable 18th / 19th century stock enclosure with 20th century septic tank inserted into it .
