Full Description

An almost perfect half circle 5m in diameter of substantial dry stone wall is revetted into the slope immediately above the cutting for the road. It looks as if this was a complete circle that was truncated when making or widening the road. It is unclear whether this structure relates to the nearby Township (Asset 74) or if it is earlier in origin as round structures of this size in the Hebrides would commonly be interpreted as Bronze or Iron Age in date. Located outwith the survey area.
