NF19NW 24 10 99.
'Excavation of a viscera/rubbish pit, begun in 1989, was completed in 1990. It had a roughly paved base, which overlay accumulated deposits containing coarse pottery and stone tools.' (No details given regarding the location of this pit; presumably associated with St Kilda Village.) Sponsors: National Trust for Scotland; Durham University.
