Deserted township, planned by I A Crawford on behalf of the School of Scottish Studies.
D G Hurst 1968.
A scattered clearance township, western extent is roughly marked by the later sheepfold, the eastern extent is truncated by the A865 main road. Depicted on Balds map and annottated ' Gerryfleugh', with additional smaller unnamed linear settlement to the northeast. Ruins are visible on current AP's and lidar imagery. Further detailed survey of this settlement would be beneficial.
