A group of shieling-huts are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1971). Three unroofed circular structures each surrounded by a pecked circle are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Inverness-shire, Hebrides, South Uist etc. 1881, sheet liii).

Four sheiling mounds are visible on current AP's, further sheilings possibly exist in this area; however a field survey would need to confirm this.
