Full Description

NF74SE 11.2 7580 4010.

A long sub-oval grassy mound, barely rising above the machair (L-35m x W- 15m). No discerible features, one stone visible poking through the grass at northern end. Rabbit activity at either end of the mound had brought midden material (whelks, limpits & animal bone), ceramic fragments & one piece of slag to the surface.
