Delapidated 2 roomed house, with hipped, thatched roof, on roof timbers of driftwood or reused ships timbers (ship worm holes).
MML 25.1.2000

The 6" 1st ed Ordnanace Survey sheet (1878) depicts a cluster of five roofed houses & a small enclosure, annotated 'Smithy'. This building appears to to be the only upstanding element of this group.
